A START Art Competition & Exhibition

The START Art Competition & Exhibition serves as a platform for emerging young artists to challenge their creativity, showcase their talent, and gain meaningful exposure within a professional artistic environment.

As part of the START Bangkok initiative, participants are given exclusive opportunities to engage with industry experts, helping bridge the gap between their current studies and future careers in the creative industries.

As part of this initiative, START at Woof Pack will offer eight scholarships to outstanding high school students who demonstrate strong potential and passion in fields such as Art, Design, Visual Communication, Fashion, and Architecture. Selected winners will join START’s portfolio development programs, where they will work closely with experienced mentors to refine their artistic direction and build competitive portfolios for university applications and future creative pathways.

This program is open to both Thai and international students

currently studying in Grades 10–12 (Year 11–13 / Mathayom 4–6)

from any school in Thailand.

2026 Theme& Submission Requirements

UNTOLD

“Every silence has a story. Every shadow holds a secret.”

We move through the world revealing only fragments of who we are.

The theme “UNTOLD” invites young artists to explore what lies beneath the surface—unspoken emotions, hidden identities, forgotten histories, or overlooked beauty in everyday life.

Whether drawn from personal experience, imagination, or cultural narratives, participants are encouraged to visualize stories that have yet to be told.

To respond to this theme, applicants are required to submit the following:

Artwork Submission

1 original artwork (JPG or PDF format, maximum 10MB per file, minimum 150 dpi)
All media are accepted, including drawing, painting, photography, collage, digital art, fashion, product design, and spatial design

Restrictions & Rules

Plagiarism: All works must be the original creation of the applicant. Plagiarism or the unauthorized use of copyrighted material will result in immediate disqualification.
AI Use: The use of AI-generated imagery is strictly prohibited.

Submissions found to violate this policy will be removed

from the competition. START Bangkok reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with these requirements.

Eligibility & Participation

Academic Level: Open to students aged 15–18 (Grade 10–12 / Year 11–13 / Mathayom 4–6) currently studying in Thailand
Entry Limit: Each participant may submit 1 original artwork for consideration
Consent: The student must give consent during the submission process of the art piece
Exhibition: Selected works will be curated and displayed at the Woof Pack Building (START Lab on 2nd floor)
Artwork Details: All media are accepted. While there are no strict size restrictions, exact dimensions must be clearly stated in the application form for curation purposes

Judging & Selection

Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of artists, creative professionals, and START Bangkok team members. The selection process focuses on identifying students with strong creative potential, originality, and a clear artistic voice.

Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

Creativity & Originality: The uniqueness of ideas and strength of personal expression
Concept & Interpretation: How clearly and thoughtfully the work explores and responds to the theme “UNTOLD”
Artistic Skill & Presentation: Technical execution, composition, and overall quality of the work
Personal Statement: Clarity of thought, motivation, and engagement with creative practice

Awards & Recognition

START Bangkok will award 8 scholarships to outstanding high school students with a strong passion and potential in Art, Design, Visual Communication, Fashion, and Architecture.

Winners will join START’s portfolio courses, working closely with mentors to develop their skills and prepare for university applications and future creative pathways.

How to Submit

Applications must be submitted via the official online submission form:

Upload your artworks directly or provide a Google Drive / Dropbox link (set to “view only” access)
Review your submission carefully — incomplete applications will not be considered
Accept consensual requirements
Submit your application by 31 May 2026

Selected participants may be invited to submit their artworks physically for final judging and exhibition.

Important Notes

Scholarship recipients must be available to participate in the START portfolio courses within the specified program period. Further details will be provided upon selection.
By submitting an application, participants grant START Bangkok permission to display and promote their work (with full credit) across exhibitions, digital platforms, and printed materials.
START Bangkok reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the program, awards, judging panel, timeline, or exhibition format if necessary. Any updates will be communicated to applicants in advance.
