

STUDIO EXPLORATIONS
Course Overview:
This immersive 5-day summer programme is designed for high school students interested in building or strengthening their art portfolio. Through a series of thematic studio sessions, students will explore a range of traditional and experimental media in a supportive, hands-on environment. With guidance from experienced tutors, participants will create finished works, develop a creative sketchbook, and reflect on their personal artistic voice.
The course is ideal for students preparing for future academic studies in art and design, or those looking to explore their creative potential.

Course Objectives:
By the end of the course, students will:
Develop a mini-portfolio with 2–4 strong finished pieces
Create a sketchbook with visual experiments, reflections, and process notes
Introduce key themes such as identity, place, memory, and observation
Learn core techniques in drawing, painting, collage, photography, and mixed media
Encourage personal expression and creative risk-taking
Build confidence for academic or personal art projects.

Day 5: Final Project & Critique
